"RAY REFLECTIVE SIGNS.

We have the honour to draw your attention to our appointment as Sol● Representatives, in Hongkong and China, of Messrs. Mur-Ray Signs Ltd., Liverpool.

We are taking the liberty of sending you two "Ray" traffic signs - one wooden triangle and one wooden "Corner" sign fitted with 21 red and 10 silver reflective lenses, respectively - for which we solicit your kind approval.

The se signs when placed in the correct position reflect with remarkable brilliancy all approaching light, particularly motor car headlights, just as if the sign were electrically fitted, thus affording a cheap and efficient warning to traffic at night. By day the same message appears as an artistic sign.

The ordinary sign ceases to function at night, it is dark and no one sees it. The "Ray sign is a day sign which becomes a brilliant night sign, working twenty four hours each day for the same cost.

To test the reflective qualities of these signs, we suggest that they be placed in a corridor facing the daylight entering through a door or window. The result s will be 100%

At the present moment we are outfitting a workshop for the manufacture of these signs and pending the arrival of the necessary machinery we regret we are unable to turn out any signs properly finished. We will be in a position to manufacture in about 7 or 8 weeks hence.

We can, however, make up any sim not machine finished for approval purposes, and shall be pleased to make a sign for to your specific ati ons for your approval, free of charge.
